We wrote letters to the king, created some wonderful writing about what we enjoy for our school time capsule and completed lots of different art activities. We really enjoyed being able to show all of our learning to our parents as part of open classrooms.

Science.

In science we have been scientists by using our knowledge of what different animals eat to help us identify which type of animals made different poo. We had great fun examining different ‘poo’ and finding out whether the animals who created it were herbivores, omnivores or carnivores.

Jigsaw.

In Jigsaw, we have been learning all about our relationships with others. We discussed physical contact and how each individual has their own level of comfort and personal space. We then worked with a partner to create our own secret handshake which we both felt comfortable with.

Science.

In science, we have been learning about different types of animals and have learnt about the 6 different animal groups. We have also used our knowledge to sort different animals into their groups. We have also started our topic ‘How do humans work?’ by thinking about our body parts. We enjoyed drawing around different people in the class and labelling their bodies.

We especially enjoyed sharing our wonderful learning with our grown-ups at the end of the week.

Emelia Earhart virtual visit.

In Rabbit Class we joined with Ladybird class to take part in an Emelia Earhart virtual visit. We were very lucky to hear all about her journey across the Atlantic Ocean and we were amazed to hear of the different troubles she faced along the way. We also got the chance to ask her lots of questions.
