Welcome to the Bishops Lydeard School Association (BLSA).

We are a registered charity which strives to raise essential funds to support our children’s school, through organising activities and events for pupils, parents and the community. We work closely with the school to ensure funds are spent where they are most required, to enrich children’s day to day learning and enhance equipment, resources and offer experiences as appropriate.

We hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the Autumn Term and meet approximately 6 times a year (once per half term). During our meetings we discuss upcoming events, new fundraising ideas and how the money raised could be best used. All are very welcome to these meetings.

Plus, a group of motivated and dedicated parents. 

Supporting us

The BLSA relies on volunteers – we welcome EVERYONE to take part and help out. Any contribution of time you can offer is hugely appreciated!

New members are always welcome to join the committee. Or if you would like to volunteer on an ad hoc basis, please sign up to our volunteers list. Extra hands make light work, and it can be a lot of fun!
