In Maths, we were creating 3D shapes of animals and household objects and then describing the properties of them.
We had an amazing day at Noah’s Ark Zoo Farm!
We were looking for right angles.
Summer Term 1
We have been learning to tell the time to the nearest minute using analogue clocks.
We found various analogue and digital clocks around the school.
We have been debating whether fox hunting should be banned or not.
Spring Term 2
Welcome back! A very busy first week back! Den building in English, measuring in the sunshine for Maths and Egyptian themed activities.
Spring Term 1
Creating our own volcanoes, adding different products, one of which was ‘Moon Dust’ from NASA!!
The initial stages of our papier mache planets.
Finding out the relative distances the planets are from the sun and between each other- the toilet roll came in handy again!
We collected data about which planet we would most like to live on and then put this into our own table and bar chart.
Following the instructions we wrote for how to mummify an Egyptian.

Autumn Term 2
We designed our own petals for a unique plant!
As an introduction to our science topic on ‘Plants’, we went and explored the plant life around the school.
We have had an amazing time learning about birds of prey with Falconry UK.
Autumn Term 1
Fox Class have written some superb stories based on ‘George and the Dragon’, so we shared them with Dragonfly Class (Year 6).
